Sugar Bottom Farm is a Disabled Veteran, First Generation, Family Owned and Operated Honeybee and Commercial Vegetable Farm We are a One Stop Shop for All Things Honeybee and our Fresh Vegetables are sold to our area school system through the USDA’s Farm to School program. Our Farm is always open for Vistors having hosted over 300 this year so far. We provide Free Education in Basic Beekeeping through both Lectures and Hands On training. We’re always available to answer questions regarding Agriculture programs here in our state and through the USDA’s Farm Service Agency and The a Natural Resource Conservation Service. Eric represents the Clay county Farmers by serving as Clay county’s Committee Member for our district office. Sugar Bottom Farm was voted Conservation Farm of the Year for the Elk Conservation District.

Products Offered
We grow Honeybees to sell, honey, pollen, honey and wax products. On the vegetable side we basically raise a salad bar consisting of 3-4 varieties of lettuce, broccoli, snap peas, green onions, green beans, squash, zucchini, eggplant, a rainbow of sweet bell peppers and mini sweet peppers, grape tomatoes and water melons.
